The Zyto Scan

I have been using essential oils for about a year. Up until about a month ago, I had not used them for therapeutic benefits. That all changed once my family and I (minus the little one) had Zyto scans.

I had been very skeptical about the concept of using oils therapeutically. Why? Because I had purchased about 10 or so oils and tried them for a plethora of symptoms ranging from allergies to anxiety and hadn't really seen the amazing benefit that others reported. I finally decided with my husband to give it one last shot and have the scan. We figured at that point, we would truly know if it was just us or the oils.

A Zyto scan takes about 5 minutes and it uses a reading from your hand to determine what supplements (in our case, Young Living supplements and oils) that we might need according to various biomarkers that are out of range in our body. For those interested, the scanning machine itself is around $399 to purchase and around $40 to maintain. We contacted a lady that I found on Facebook and met up with her one Sunday night after church to scan.

What was interesting about my scan is that it was remarkably able to determine actual health issues that I had (which luckily aren't that many). My biggest oil that was recommended for over half of my markers was Myrrh. Myrrh is an oil I learned that is commonly used in treating gum and dental infections. I was diagnosed with periodontal disease about 2 years ago and it can be a recurring battle. My next highest recommendation was for the Super Cal capsules which at the time were on back order. The capsules are loaded with calcium and magnesium which with my gum disease and a family history of osteoporosis definitely hit close to home.

My next oil was Juvaflex which is known for primarily being a liver and lymphatic system detox. It is also known for calming anger and detoxing it from your liver. I have a previous history of fatty liver and IBS (which can be stress related). Cypress was also recommended. Cypress is known as a grounding oil and also known to be good for insomnia. Another oil that I wasn't as familiar was my last oil, Ocotea which is known for helping in a variety of conditions such as blood sugar maintenance, curbing sugar cravings and treating candida.

I guess the most encouraging parts of the scan was that it did hit close to home for several issues that I have and that none of the oils that were recommended I had. I think I would have been more skeptical if the scan had recommended things like lavender, peace and calming, frankincense. In the coming days, I will discuss my experience with the oils I was able to get my hands on and the benefits I have been experiencing since my scan.

If you are interested in learning more about these oils or purchasing oils, feel free to contact me and I would love to give you more information on Young Living and their products.
